Kosamttam Finance Limited (‘Company’) is emerging as a prominent Gold Loan business company with 939 branches, as on September 30, 2019, largely spread across southern India.
The company is systemically important non-deposit taking NBFC primarily engaged in the Gold Loan business, lending money against the pledge of household jewellery (“Gold Loans”) in the state of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Telangana along with the Union Territory of Puducherry.
For the six-month period ending on September 30, 2019 and for the financial years ended March 31, 2019, March 31, 2018, and March 31, 2017, yield on Gold Loan assets were 17.55%, 20.74%, 21.13% and 26.35%, respectively.
